This sketch was also another piece inspired by the Norse Mythology of the Marriage of Skadi, this piece instead is about the conflicting desires that both deities had. While Skadi wanted to live in her home of the mountain range, her husband wanted to live in the sandy beach. Skadi missed basking in the moonlight and hearing the beautiful howls of the wolves, while Njord missed the warm rays of the sun and the cries of the seagulls. Both compromised choosing to live together in the other's land for nine days at a time, however both despised the aspects of each others land.
