Artist Statement
A conflicting setting based on a Norse mythology based on a marriage between two equally conflicting gods, Skadi the goddess of the mountain wilderness and Njord the god of the sea. This scene was to infuse both of the setting that both gods represent, which despite how beautiful they seem, much like the myth would never work. Yet, one can still appreciate the beauty even in the impossible.
